We're sorry for your loss and understand that this can be a very difficult time. There are lots of practical things to sort and we would be happy to support you and put you in touch with the right people.

Organise a funeral

A variety of services - Celebrations of Life, Funerals and Memorials

Our clergy consider it a real privilege to support families as they grieve the loss of a loved one.  We long to come alongside to take services at the crematorium, in the cemetery or at local churches.  We seek to honour the wishes of the family, providing a more traditional Funeral Service or Celebration of Life.

If you haven't already, make sure you contact a funeral director who will be able to guide you through the process. If you would like to hold your service in the church or would like one of our ministers to lead the service let the funeral director know.

A date will be arranged that suits all involved and the minister taking the service will get in touch to arrange visiting and planning the service.

Give us a call, drop us an email, or contact us through the website to start the conversation.

Ongoing Support

We are able to offer you support to organise the service, we take time to listen and to respond.  We can offer more too.... if there's something you feel we can help with, please do reach out.

We can help to design and print simple service cards, including colour photographs of your loved one.

We will also offer to support you going forward. The funeral is an important step in the journey of loss and grief.  We send an occasional invitation to you, for instance to In Loving Memory, a service held in Advent each year when we gather to remember loved ones.

As well as a huge sense of loss, sadness and grief, you may have big questions about God, suffering and faith.  We'd love to offer a listening ear, to be praying for you and offering ongoing support.
